TRYTN allows for businesses to enter their Google Analytics tracking ID and enable ecommerce tracking data to be sent to their account. By default this is turned off and must be enabled both in Google Analytics as well as TRYTN before data will properly send to Google Analytics.
Enable Google Analytics Ecommerce Tracking
Step 1: Enable in Google Analytics
Please follow the steps in this help document in order to enable Google Analytics to receive and record ecommerce data. Once finished (the link will open in a new window) please return and continue to step 2.
Step 2: Enable in TRYTN
After Google Analytics has been set up to receive ecommerce data the tracking set up within TRYTN also needs to be modified. Navigate to Shop Settings > Tracking and locate the Google Analytics section.
Within this you will see an ID field as well as a checkbox for Enable Google Analytics Ecommerce Tracking. Enter both your Google Analytics ID (if this is a new) or check the Enable Google Analytics Ecommerce Tracking checkbox (if this is an existing) and select Save Changes. Going forward all new purchases will be tracked in Google Analytics.
Note: The TRYTN system does not currently support Enhanced Ecommerce Tracking.
Disable Google Analytics Ecommerce Tracking
To disable Google Analytics ecommerce tracking simply navigate back Settings > Tracking and find the existing Google Analytics section. Un-check the Enable Google Analytics Ecommerce Tracking checkbox and select Save Changes. If you further wish to disable this form of tracking you can also go into Google Analytics admin and disable Google Analytics ecommerce tracking there as well.
