Maintain View with No Exclusion Filters
As a best practice one view should contain all the data that is received for troubleshooting.
Normalize URL structure
URLs are case-sensitive in Google Analytics. Therefore to get the cleanest data it's recommended that all URLs be converted to all lowercase. To do this, navigate to Admin > Filters and create a new filter. Select Custom Filter and the Lowercase option. In the new dropdown select Request URI.
Enable Ecommerce Tracking
To better understand purchase sources it's recommended to track ecommerce data in Google Analytics. In addition to turning this on within the system you also need to turn this on in Google Analytics. Go to Admin > Ecommerce Settings and check the Enable Ecommerce option. Note that the system does not support Enhanced Ecommerce Reporting.
