Gift certificates are an excellent option to offer monetary value for your products or experiences that can be purchased online and redeemed at a later time.
How to Create Gift Certificates
1. Products > Merchandise > +Add (follow steps) > Select "Is this item a gift certificate?"
If you do not see option for "Is this item a gift certificate?", you must enable this feature. Visit Settings > Features and check box to "allow gift certificates" > Save Changes

*Example price options:
2. Change the "Merchandise" tab name: Settings > Custom Labels > Rename Merchandise Tab to something such as "Merchandise and Gift Cards" > Save Changes
*When a gift card is purchased, the booking system generates a unique code. If you’d like to send a physical gift card, you can write or print that code onto a blank, branded card and mail it to the recipient. Blank cards are recommended so the code matches the system and redeems correctly. Blank gift cards (with no pre-printed numbers) can be purchased from Vistaprint, Moo, GotPrint, Deluxe, or Amazon (search blank gift cards for business).
To Redeem Gift Certificates
Customers can redeem gift card codes and book directly on your website. At checkout, select "Apply Gift Certificate or Promo Code," then enter the code in the provided box.
On the backend: To book on behalf of a customer, locate the gift certificate code on the transaction details page and input the Gift Certificate Code in the space provided (see below).
*To view purchased gift certificates, go to Reports > Gift Certificates to see the purchase dates of all gift cards.
Please note: Our system does not support redeeming gift cards for deposit-only pricing. To redeem a gift card on the backend, while editing a transaction change the transaction price from deposit-only to regular pricing. Alternatively, you can create hidden full-price options for deposit-only pricing (to be used on the backend).
