What is a Widget
A widget is a smaller subsection of the overall embedded booking experience that you can integrate into your website to enhance the user experience. For example, you could add a product card widget to a product page or a calendar widget to a sidebar to support faster adding-to-cart functionality for a given product.
TRYTN offers the following widget types that can be used to enhance your product website:
- Calendar Widgets: Used to add a calendar onto your website (for scheduled activities only)
- Product Card Widgets: Used to add a link to a single product onto your website
- Product Grid Widgets: Used to add a link to all products onto your website
Adding a Calendar Widget
STEP 1: Log into your TRYTN account and navigate to Settings > Widgets.
STEP 2: Expand the Calendar Widget option.
STEP 3: Select the scheduled product (using the Products dropdown menu) and language (using the Select Language dropdown menu) you want your calendar widget to be used for. You can click the blue Preview button to display a view of your calendar.
STEP 4: Copy the code provided under Generated Code for use on your website.
Example Calendar Widget:
Note that the calendar widget only supports scheduled activities. Unscheduled activities and merchandise are ineligible for a calendar widget.
Adding a Product Card Widget
STEP 1: Log into your TRYTN account and navigate to Settings > Widgets.
STEP 2: Expand the Product Card Widget option.
STEP 3: Select the product (using the Products dropdown menu) and language (using the Select Language dropdown menu) you want your product card widget to be used for.
STEP 4: Copy the code provided under Generated Code for use on your website.

Adding a Product Grid Widget
STEP 1: Log into your TRYTN account and navigate to Settings > Widgets.
STEP 2: Expand the Product Grid Widget option.
STEP 3: Select the product type (using the Products dropdown menu) and language (using the Select Language dropdown menu) you want your Product Grid widget to be used for. Optionally you can also select a category (from the Categories dropdown menu) within the product type to drill the user in deeper.
STEP 4: Copy the code provided under Generated Code for use on your website.
