Add AdRoll Pixel to TRYTN
How to Find AdRoll Pixel Information
Navigate to your AdRoll account to get your pixel information. If you have not created a pixel before, follow the simple steps within the AdRoll dashboard to create your pixel. If you've already created your pixel, select View Pixel. You will see code that looks like the following:
adroll_adv_id = "AB7CDE5F1GH9IJK4E3DDS9"; adroll_pix_id = "1D454F6D78AEFSADF45687";
The adroll_adv_id field is entered into the system as the Advertisable EID. The adroll_pix_id field is entered into the system as Pixel EID.
Expand the Audience Settings area and add in your audience IDs for the given areas.
Edit Existing AdRoll Pixel from TRYTN
Log into your TRYTN account. Navigate to Settings > Tracking. Under the tracking implementations find the AdRoll Pixel ID you wish to modify. If you do not see any tracking implementations listed you do not currently have any tracking implementations.
Select Edit from the Actions menu and make the appropriate modifications.
Remove AdRoll Pixel from TRYTN
Log into your TRYTN account. Navigate to Settings > Tracking. Under the tracking implementations find the AdRoll Pixel ID you wish to modify. If you do not see any tracking implementations listed you do not currently have any tracking implementations.
Select Delete from the Actions menu and make the appropriate modifications.
Creating Fixed Audiences within AdRoll
Log into your AdRoll account. It may be helpful to follow the instructions on this support document on how to create Fixed Audiences. Follow the instructions for Creating a Fixed Audience. Once you have clicked on the Copy ID to Clipboard link, paste that code into the TRYTN system for the given audience.
Checkout Audience ID - This is the audience that is triggered when someone adds one or more products to their cart. This is helpful to create an audience for this page for those who are highly engaged for a product.
Confirmation Audience ID - This audience serves two purposes. The first is to be used to exclude advertisements from people who clicked on an ad and purchased. The second is to be used to reengage customers who previously purchased products.
Details Audience ID - This audience is for potential customers who have viewed a product details page. This shows a low level of interest in the product.
You may also need to tag various pages on your website with AdRoll. However tracking within TRYTN helps to track higher-engaged users who are working through the checkout flow.
