TRYTN email templates can be used to create customized emails sent out before or after activities, after purchases, or in situations that may be unique to a particular activity or business type. Types of Email Templates
TRYTN currently supports four main types of email templates. Each template can be utilized in different situations.
This email template type is useful when you wish to contact the user a certain number of hours/days before an activity date. Examples of this could be reminders on what to bring or how to find the launch location. You can configure how many hours/days prior to the activity date this email will be sent, ranging from 1 hour to 14 days prior. Note: Only scheduled activities can utilize the pre-activity template. If a customer purchases multiple scheduled activities they will receive a separate email for each activity. (View example).
Similar to the pre-activity template type, this email template is sent after an activity has been attended, ranging anywhere between 1 hour and 14 days afterward. Examples of this email could be prompting a user for a review or sending them a promotion code for a future purchase. Note: Only scheduled activities can utilize the post-activity template. If a customer purchases multiple scheduled activities they will receive a separate email for each activity. (View example).
Similar to the post-activity template type, this email template is sent after a purchase has been made, ranging between 1 hour and 14 days after the purchase date. Since this is triggered based on a purchase, all product types can utilize this template type. This type of email could be useful for letting customers know when a merchandise order will ship. (View example).
User-driven email templates are predefined responses to common customer questions. These are not scheduled based on time, but instead are manually sent by an operator based on the occurrence of an event, such as inclement weather. As an example, let's assume you have a bike tour that is weather-dependent. If a thunderstorm hits your city and you can no longer perform this tour, you can set up a predetermined cancellation message to quickly send to participants for a given time slot (or even an entire day). Sample Pre-Activity Email Template
The following is a sample pre-activity email that can be sent to customers days before an activity is scheduled to occur. You are welcome to use this sample email as a basic template for your shop. Note: If you set a "Pre-activity" email to send 3 days before a trip start time and a customer books just 1 day before their trip start time, they will still receive the pre-activity email.
