Steps to Connect

- Swipe right from the left edge of the screen to open the Settings menu.
- Tap Settings and enter the Admin PIN: 07139.
- Select Wi-Fi Settings, choose your local network, and enter the password using the digital keyboard.
- Tap Connect. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Important Network Requirements
- Same Network: Your BBPOS reader must be connected to the same local network as the phone, tablet, or computer running your Point of Sale (POS) software.
- IPv4 Only: The reader requires an IPv4 address and cannot operate on IPv6‑only networks.
-
Connection Type: If you are using Wi‑Fi, disconnect any Ethernet cables from the optional dock. Having both connected at once can cause unstable or unreliable performance.
