There are various categories of partial refunds available.
- Re-open availability scenarios:
- Cancel bookings but charge a cancellation fee (example: customers cancel upcoming tour and you want to charge a fee).
- Change number of participants (example: 4 persons to 3 persons)
- Actions > Edit > Remove participant/s > Review & Checkout > Review and Confirm Changes and Partial Refund amount > Check box for "acknowledge refund" > Refund
- Change product type (example: Change Ghost tour to a History Tour)
- Actions > Edit > Add Item > Add new product/dates/times/etc. > Remove previous item > Review and Confirm Changes and Partial Refund amount > Check box for "acknowledge refund" > Refund
- Change pricing type (example: On the same trip, change Scuba Diver to Snorkeler)
- Actions > Edit > Edit quantity of previous pricing > Edit quantity of new pricing > Review and Confirm Changes and Partial Refund amount > Check box for "acknowledge refund" > Refund
- Do not re-open availability (example: Customers charged $100 per person for a tour, but you want to refund them $50 per person)
- Actions > Edit > Type desired price for each price point over the existent price > Review and Confirm Changes and Partial Refund amount > Check box for "acknowledge refund" > Refund
