The following article outlines the process for issuing full refunds for customer purchases from your TRYTN account. Note: Partial refunds must be made by editing an existing transaction. See Edit an Existing Purchase for more details.

Refund Full Transaction
There are a few ways to navigate to Transaction Details pages to refund an entire booking, so instructions for each option are detailed in the steps below. Note: If you are looking to issue a partial refund, please reference the article Edit an Existing Purchase.
STEP 1: Find the Transaction Details Page
While logged in to your TRYTN account, navigate to the Transactions - Details page via Transactions, Dashboard, or Check In. Instructions for each option are included below.
OPTION 1: Via Transactions

- Select Transactions from the main website navigation.

- Enter your search parameters to locate the transaction of interest and then click on the associated blue Actions menu, followed by Details. Then move to STEP 2.

OPTION 2: Via Dashboard

- Select Dashboard from the main website navigation.
- Use the calendar to locate and click on the booking you need.

- Under the Actions header in the table, click on the Details button for the transaction of interest. Then move to STEP 2.

OPTION 3: Via Check In

- Select Check In from the main website navigation.
- Enter your search parameters to find and click on the booking you need.

- From the Manifest page, locate the transaction of interest and click on the associated blue Actions menu, followed by Details. Then move to STEP 2.

STEP 2: Refund the Transaction
Once on the Transactions - Details page for the purchase of interest, click the actions menu in the top right-hand corner and select the refund option that you'd like to perform. When clicked, both the 'Refund Full Transaction' and 'Refund With Default Cancellation Fees' options will take you to the purchase flow review step. The 'Refund with Custom Cancellation Fees' option will take you to the purchase flow checkout step where you'll be able to enter a custom cancellation fee for each participant.
STEP 3: Confirm the Refund
All refunds are final, so you are required to acknowledge the refund that you want to proceed by clicking Acknowledge Refund checkbox and then clicking the Finish button. You may also click Cancel Edit at this point if you are not ready to process the refund. *If you want to handle the refund outside of TRYTN, click the checkbox Refund to be handled outside of TRYTN. When this box is checked, you can offer your refund in cash, by check, etc. Do not click this box if you want the refund to go through the payment processor (Paypal and/or Stripe) via TRYTN.
